Making Miss Tulip

Sometimes it rains in Belgium (I know, shocking), so we need to find fun indoor activities. Thankfully, our little Miss Artiste received a Miss Tulip Stitch Kit from Santa for Christmas. Santa must have thought that Morgan would appreciate a doll that she could make herself (with some help), and he was right. Morgan loved this intro to sewing! She could easily identify where the pre-cut pieces belonged to put the doll together. She also learned how to thread a needle and she enjoyed pulling the needle and thread to make the stitches. Her favorite part was stuffing the doll with cotton at the end.  It was also a good exercise in patience because this doll did not get finished in one day, but her patience paid off, and she is so proud of her accomplishment in making Miss Tulip! She’s pretty cute, isn’t she?
