Playtime in Paris

Who knew that Paris was so kid friendly?  In between cafe hopping, it will come as no surprise that we spent a lot of time at the beautiful parks, playgrounds, and carousels that Paris has to offer.  The Jardin du Luxembourg, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, had a fantastic playground and a vintage carousel operated by hand crank with a jeu de bagues (ring game), where children sitting on the outermost circle of horses are given a stick and attempt to spear the most number of tin rings.  Competitive little Morgan loved this game, and would shout “look Gussy, I got one” every time she had success! The Jardin des Tuileries, located between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, was another favorite spot for our picnics, playground outings, carousel rides, and some games at a little carnival that was being held nearby. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
